MOREC 2025 is a conference platform in the field of outdoor recreation and education organized by AURORA, the Co-Curriculum Center, in collaboration with and sponsored by Eiger Adventure Sdn Bhd. The aim is to gather all practitioners of outdoor recreation and education in a relaxed but scholarly event. The concept of this conference is semi-academic, focusing on practitioners of recreation and academics who will present practical papers, concept papers, and research findings.
The purpose of organizing this conference is to provide exposure and disseminate information on topics related to outdoor recreation and education, involving views and discussions from recreation and education practitioners from various fields of expertise.
MOREC 2025 also provides an opportunity for recreation practitioners, industry players, and the public to exchange views and opinions, as well as to foster collaboration and the formation of professional networks with the industry.
OBJECTIVE
What is the objective of MOREC 2025?

Strengthen knowledge and skills in recreational activities through conferences and exhibitions at exhibition booths for practitioners in the fields of recreation and education comprehensively.

Provide an opportunity for recreation practitioners, industry players, and the public to exchange views and opinions, as well as foster collaboration and the formation of professional networks with the industry.

Introduce and promote AURORA as the national reference platform related to recreation and safety in outdoor and educational activities through high-quality research, publications, and services to develop excellent human capital among recreation practitioners, industry players, and the public.

Position UPSI as the leading institution in providing systematic education related to outdoor recreation skills and safety to the public, especially recreation practitioners.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts should be in English, with a maximum of 250 words. Please use single spacing and Times New Roman, 12-point font. Abstracts of research papers should provide a brief description of research objectives, methodology, theory and summary of results and/or conclusions and also keywords. Please do not include any charts, bibliographies or footnotes. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously.

PUBLICATION
Full papers presented at 5th MOREC 2025 will be published in the conference proceedings and shall be distributed to participants during the event. The volume will come with ISBN and will also be available online on the web proceedings archive and in CD form.
Accepted papers will be published in Journal of Sports Science & Physical Education (ISSN 2232-1918/eISSN 2600-9323). Selection of articles will be based a number of factors including, among other things, quality of research, originality, and style. Selected papers may be required to undergo further review and editing before actual publication.
